We have a position for a Customer Service Apprentice


CLEVR Money has been established for 10 years as a successful Credit Union covering the Fylde Coast and Preston areas.


Job Role


This is a multi-skilled role to provide frontline customer services to Credit Union members and to provide administrative support as a part of the Credit Union staff team. As part of your apprenticeship, we will provide training relevant to the Credit Union financial services sector.


Principal Duties


Customer Service

  • Front line customer service, communicating with existing and potential members in person, by telephone, email, or other form of communication
  • For answering the telephone, dealing with member queries and ensuring that messages are passed on promptly to all members of staff
  • Use of in-house and external software applications to facilitate customer services and identity checking
  • Opening accounts and keeping member records updated as required
  • Assisting with the input of member records posted onto the financial software system in accordance with the policy and procedure



  • Understanding and operating office diary system
  • Attendance at marketing events as required
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Ensuring that stock levels of stationery, leaflets and posters are maintained and distributed
  • General office duties including any photocopying, filing, scanning and general administration
  • Other duties commensurate with the post

Qualifications and Experience

  1. GCSE in Maths, English and IT at grade 4 or above (C or above) (E)
  2. Good standard of computer literacy (E)
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (D)
  4. Experience in providing high quality customer service in a busy environment (D)
